Thanks to those who sent me the link to the YouTube version of my favorite movie, a short clip of a monkey washing a cat.

Gotta love the YouTube.

And speaking of Pan troglodytes, whomever thought the finale of American Idol would be better if Taylor Hicks performed The Beatles' "A Day In The Life" should be caned.

I didn't change channels, or turn the TV off. I didn't leave the room.

I left my whole house, walking into the darkness of my back yard and letting loose a wailing, desperate cry to the night stars.

If John Lennon were alive today, he'd be turning over in his grave.
