Pops on the River, presented by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette is the state's largest Fourth of July celebration. The event will be held at the Riverfest Amphitheater in Little Rock. Gates will open to the public at 5:30 p.m. The top 5 contestants from the "Oh! Say can you sing?" contest will perform at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Happy Tymes Jazz Band at 7:00 p.m. The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra will perform at 8:30 p.m. with the fireworks following at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Food vendors will be present, and you are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs. No pets or coolers, please.

Admission is free, but canned food or non-perishable food donations to the Arkansas Rice Depot are strongly encouraged.
