Fabulous in fuschia
Unconventional pairings work well for this office worker on a lunch date

Office manager Ashley Taylor, 25, wore this flamboyant fuschia number to meet a friend for lunch. The cowlneck short-sleeved dress was winterized with a long back shirt underneath and gray stockings. The teal-colored jacket made the colorful ensemble pop without looking too ostentatious.
Taylor describes her look as fun and says she likes to look “approachable,” something she manages to do by dressing casual and comfortable. She loves belts worn at the natural waist and the ’80s look with boots and leggings. By working in some of the latest trends, she keeps her look in this decade with decidedly non-80s hair, ankle boots and a wide belt.
Dress:
The black belt brings together the fuschia-colored knit dress and black, long-sleeve T-shirt.
Shoes:
The simple, low-key colors of the gray knit leggings and black suede boots let the fuschia dress shine.
Accessories:
She kept the accessories to a minimum to avoid overwhelming the look — sticking to black, dangle earrings and a leather handbag.
The coat:
The teal-colored coat was probably the splurge of this outfit. The color is versatile and could be paired with a variety of ensembles.
