Boo at the Zoo offers Halloween fun for even the littlest goblins. However, the faint of heart may want the skip the zoo's haunted house.
LITTLE ROCK This Halloween, the metro offers a variety of ways to celebrate. There are hayrides and trick-or-treating options to haunted houses for the less-squeamish. Pumpkin patches are also open so you can find the perfect gourd for your porch. While we tried to include many of this season's Halloween events, we're not perfect and may have missed some.

Kids can take their candy bags and visit participating museums, which include the Old State House Museum, Museum of Discovery, Clinton Center, Curran Hall, Central High School National Historic Site, MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History, Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, Historic Arkansas Museum and EMOBA Museum. There will be free shuttle buses to each location.

Billed as a "Safe, fun-filled family Halloween festival", Boo at the Zoo has rides, treat stations, a costume contest and lots of other activities.

The fun at Park Plaza is for children 12 and under. The contest will be held on the Third Level East, and contest winners will be announced on Nov. 5. After the contest, kids can trick-or-treat at participating merchants. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
