LITTLE ROCK — Julie Wax is a fashion fan all around. Today, she wears a khaki trapeze dress she purchased at Barney's in Dallas. Her love of "labels" and bargains, too, makes her clothes buying hobby more interesting.

Describing her style as chic and sophisticated, she likes to accessorize while "keeping it clean." She loves dresses and prefers them over pants every day, as they make her feel more feminine, and still comfortable.

Wax says her fashion is often inspired by celebrities. Keeping up with their changes in style is part of her passion. Besides her full time job in Little Rock, Wax has recently started a fashion blog where she reviews beauty products and fashion trends, sharing deals, tips and more with her readers at http://iheartheels-julie.blogspot.com/.

This khaki dress is a knee length 3.1 Phillip Lim with small rosette detail at the neckline and trim at the hem. "Dresses are an easy piece to wear," she said. This one has been worn from workplace to wedding ceremony and knows no season. She reveals how she can put a turtleneck and tights with it this fall, but just as easily can slip on peep-toe heels for the summer.

She pairs the dress with brown opaque tights and brown suede boots from Chicago. She loves to travel and pick up pieces that remind her of her trip. She said she never buys an entire outfit, like the ones found on displays in stores, but chooses to piece her wardrobe together for a unique and different look every time.

Her shiny patent brown purse is accented with gold buckles and braided handstraps and was purchased from Mason's in Fayetteville. Her brown and ivory necklace came from the same boutique. The brown earrings are somewhat sentimental; purchased on a trip to Seaside, Fla., where she had her beach wedding.
