By Lauren Clark Shelley Smith,26, of Little Rock was found fashionable outside The Fountain in Hillcrest.

LITTLE ROCK — Shelley Smith, 26 of Little Rock, chose The Fountain in Hillcrest as the place to kick off her weekend with a glass of wine and friends before heading to a movie at The Rave.

With a little acting and modeling under her belt and always wearing dresses and heels when she goes out - "Some of my friends have never seen me in pants!" she is truly a girly-girl.

Tonight she chose a sleeveless jersey knit dress paired with black shiny leggings. Over her empire waist dress she models a black "doo-whopper" as she calls it - a short-sleeved cardigan. Many of her items came from Forever 21 of which she said "No one can ever really know you got something there. It's so big!"

Her shiny black leggings from Express are so eye-catching she told me she can't wear them out too much. The same goes for her ivory colored patent pumps. Not wanting "to wear out a trend" she's just worn them a couple of times. Only occasionally showing off her key pieces keeps from over-doing them. Her shoes were not a pricey investment as she told me, "I can't pass up cheap shoes!" And you can count on most of the ones in her closet being high heels. Not that the 5'10 fashionista needs help in the height department, but "I love super tall shoes. It makes people mad but I love that trend. I will never wear flat shoes ... which is a bit ridiculous."

Silver accessories complement the black and gray in her clothes nicely. She wears a long tassel necklace, braided cuff bracelet and several rings. Two of her rings were made by her mother's friend in the '70s. Her black clutch came from Target and she thinks it's a bit '50s-ish "with its knobbies. I like to click it shut real fast." A small silver headband adds a bit of glamour to her loose, flowy ponytail. Smith thought it "kinda looks like a tiara or something from a medieval time period."
