About this place

If first-time diners at this bar/restaurant with a brokenin appearance and a loose feel are surprised by the ambitious menu of gourmet salads ($2- $7.50) sandwiches, ($5.50- $7.50), pizzas ($6.95-$9.95) and a few entrees ($9.50-$13.50), they'll likely be more amazed by the quality - and often the quantity - of food they receive. Reno's doesn't skimp on stuff. A recent Greek Salad ($6.25), with portions of lettuce, cucumber, capers, red onion and bright red Roma tomato with a befitting house vinaigrette, was as generous as it was gorgeous. Big enough for two to share, the thin-crust pizzas - like Gene's Roasted Garlic ($7.95) wearing olive oil, whole cloves of roasted garlic, spinach, tomato, feta and mozzarella cheese - are a bargain. Sandwiches range from classics like a Main St. Club ($6.25) of smoked turkey, cheddar, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise, to the Cuban ($7.50) of roast pork, ham, cheese, pickle and mustard, and there's also a range of gyros and wraps. They all come with pesto pasta salad, a side of lightly spiced homemade chips or a luscious sour-creambased potato salad.
